Singapore 新加坡, June 2023: 3D2N Fun Explore at Fort Canning Park, Mount Faber & Fort Siloso Skywalk

Very excited even though it was just a short getaway! Thanks to my brother who got us a FREE room at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Things we eat and places we explored in Singapore within 55 hours. Let's see!

3D2N Fun Explore at Fort Canning Park, Mount Faber & Fort Siloso Skywalk

1. Hey Tea

First thing first, after we touched down in Sg, the very first drink I want is Hey tea. It is so famous for its real-fruits tea. Definitely one of our all-time favourite drinks. A lot of real fruits pulp at the bottom, well it is not sweet at all too. We will always grab a cup and go!

2. Torasho Ramen & Charcoal Bar

They have some interesting good bowls of ramen so we decided to go for a try. We ordered few different kinds of ramen like Uni Tonkotsu, Truffle Wagyu, Spicy Tonkotsu Lv.2 and Truffle Tonkotsu to try. They did serve up some good classic bowl of ramen. Love the binchotan charcoal pork chashu that sitting on top of the ramen, so incredibly tender. The charred edges of the thick cut pork completely blown my mind, the beautiful caramelized crust and smoke definitely brings out the richness of the pork especially when the smoky fat drips down into the soup, infusing the entire bowl with a campfire-like flavours. So good!

3. Coach Play & Cafe

After lunch, we head over to this Coach Play & Cafe located at the Chinatown Point which was now permanently closed down. For now, there is a Coach coffee shop located at Weave in Resorts World Sentosa. They do serve up some American classics specialty like the Stumptown Coffee and also some Singapore-exclusive treats like Chili crab soft serve.

4. Birds of Paradise Gelato

One of the best botanical gelato that are crafted with real fruits, flowers and spices. Loving their in-house thyme cone. It is my all time favourite cone. Always has the hardest time to choose on the flavours, too spoilt with many good and attractive options.

5. GOHO | Japanese Kaiseki & Cocktails

The hubbs booked us a delicate Japanese cuisine for our Anniversary dinner. It was quite an enjoyable dinner here. Everything served were good with affordable price too. Sad to find out that it was permanently closed down for now.

6. Don Don Donki

We always end our night at a nearby Don Don Donki to get some snacks or drinks back to enjoy in the hotel room. Love to stroll around the shop for something that cannot be found back in our country Malaysia. The best place to walk around after a long good dinner. Some outlet do opens for 24 hours but some may not, do remember to check on the opening hours before heading over.

7. Equate Coffee

A very sleek & modernized design coffee shop. A great place to chill for some coffee and pastries. This shop is located at the Orchard Central, however, I found that it was permanently closed for now and has moved to Tanjong Pagar Plaza.

8. Fort Canning Park

It is one of Singapore's most historic landmarks. It has gone through the golden age of Singapore from a boring fishing village to a very happening trading era in the 19th Century. The decision to surrender Singapore to the Japanese made by the British during the World War II, has took place at one of the building in the park such as the Fort Canning Bunker or Battle Box. Many artifacts and structural building from the past are still survived and well-preserved until today. The greenery hill like a piece of lawns often draws foreigners came for a picnic, walk, festivals, parties and gatherings. There is also wedding photoshoot going on for some days with their park distinctive charm and tranquillity as backgrounds.
